Hasami-yaki Cup, Ember

A stacking cup made in Hasami, Nagasaki, in five sizes from an espresso to a long filter coffee.
Ember is a charcoal glaze over a warm brown foot, with a flash of red at the rim. The cups stack, so a few sizes take up very little shelf.
Hasami has been making pottery for over 400 years. Asemi Co. works with a workshop there to make these in small batches.
