Still Hours started as a shelf in a small kitchen: the kettle, dripper and grinder we had settled on after years of trying nearly everything else. Friends kept asking where they came from, so we started selling them.
The rule hasn’t changed since. Everything in the shop spends months on our own counter first, and if it doesn’t earn its place there through daily use, it doesn’t get listed. When something better comes along, we swap it and tell you why.
We buy from the makers or their official UK distributors, so everything is genuine and comes with the full manufacturer’s warranty.
The name comes from the hour before everyone else is up. It’s when most of our coffee gets made, and it’s what we look for in a tool: quiet, steady and easy to use half awake.
